Please be aware that the student MUST BE AT ALL practices from 3:10-4:45 (Wednesday Dec 21, Jan 11, 18, 25, and Feb 1) in order to walk in the parade.

Hello CLIP Families,

We are excited to participate in the Chinese New Year Parade in San Francisco after 3 years off due to Covid. This parade is one of the largest CNY celebrations outside of Asia. This year is the year of the Water Rabbit which symbolizes longevity, peace, and prosperity.

All students are welcome to come partake in the parade. No experience is necessary, and you do not need to be in ASEP class to join. The parade is February 4, 2023. This will be an experience for the kids to participate, spread cultural awareness, and represent CLIP at the same time. Please join the Konstella Group: 2022-2023 CNY Parade Parent Group for all communications regarding the parade.

• Parent assistance is mandatory. We will need help with costumes, props, running practices, managing sub teams, and parade day chaperones. Please note, that parents will not walk in the parade, only the team leaders with the students.

• Donation Request: $45.59/participant for costumes, props, bus transportation, parade meal & other costs.
