PTSA GENERAL MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT, Wed, Sept 13th 6pm in the Library - Special Guest Speakers!
Thu, Sep 7 2:38pm

CPMA PTSA is holding its first general meeting of the school year on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at 6:00pm in the Library. Pizza will be provided.

In addition to covering our important PTSA items, we will also have an important guest speaker, Tim Farson, SCPA Principal and CPMA staff to discuss Looking to the Future, High School Options, so you can learn about SCPA, the CHOICE process and auditions. This will be very important for 8th grade parents and students to attend since CHOICE applications start October 2 – November 13, 2017. This will also be valuable for information for all our CPMA students.

This will be an important meeting for all PTSA members to attend as we will be introducing the PTSA Board members, as well as voting on key items for the year.  The PTSA Board will be presenting and asking for the members to vote on the following items: the 2017-2018 PTSA Budget, the 2017-2018 PTSA Fundraisers and adopting the 2017-2018 list of PTSA sponsored programs. The PTSA Board will also present a list of vacant chairs and will be asking for help from Parents, Teachers and Students to help grow the PTSA while we work to support this wonderful school.

We believe that parent involvement in school life is one of the many factors that enriches a child's learning experience and improves the school. Our mission is to support a warm and caring community by being the bridge between family and school life. Getting involved in the PTSA gives your child a voice. It shows them you care about their education and well-being!

The PTSA strives to make every effort to answer questions and concerns you may have involving your child and CPMA. This can be an exciting and trying time for both the students and parents, and we want to make sure that we can help you to the best of our ability. Your input will be essential in accommodating students and parents in whatever assistance is needed.

Thank you for your support!
