Hi, Dear Chadbourne Families,
Here is an important message from our School Counselor, Tania Martinez. She is an amazing resource to have at our school! (I attached it as well in case you want to save the file.) See below:
Dear Chadbourne Community,
Welcome back to another amazing school year! I am Ms. Martinez, the school counselor. I am excited to be able to meet and work with your students and families. I look forward to helping the students achieve their goals while learning useful academic and social skills.
My goal is to deliver a Comprehensive Counseling program which offers services to all students based on individual as well as community needs. The services will assist in the growth of social/emotional well-being, address academic concerns, and encourage students to begin thinking about college and careers.
The types of counseling services offered include brief individual counseling, small groups, classroom guidance lessons, and school-wide presentations. Additional resources and suggestions for referrals to outside agencies are also available through the administration, the school counselor, or the school psychologist.
