Good evening Chadbourne Families!
Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week! This year was very challenging for everyone...parents, students, and teachers. Next week let's show our teachers some love and appreciation for all that they have done to help give our students the best education possible. We have created a kudoboard for students and parents to post to during the week and on Friday it will be shared with the school. Every single day it would be great if our students could show little signs of appreciation throughout the week. If your class is having a drop/off pick-up you can do these in person as well! Please feel free to be creative as you would like but here are some suggestions:
Monday: Hold up a handmade sign on zoom at the beginning of class with a nice greeting like "I appreciate you!" or "Thank you for being my teacher!"
Tuesday: Create a piece of art for your teacher and present it to him or her via zoom.
Wednesday: Wear your teacher's favorite color, sport's team, or animal.
Thursday: Send your teacher an email or post online (Konstella, Seesaw) telling him or her about the favorite thing that you've learned this school year.
Friday: Parents, siblings and maybe even pets peek in to say, "we appreciate you!" to our wonderful teachers before dismissal.
Don't forget our prep teachers! They teach each and every one of the students at the school and would love words of appreciation and love.
