The agenda and the slate of candidates recommended by the Nominating Committee are attached.

Also attached are the current Bylaws in case you are interested.  The provision regarding elections is Article VII, Section 2, and the provision regarding the report of the Nominating Committee is Article V, Section 3(g).  The report to the members of the Nominating Committee, also known as “The Slate” is due 28 days before the election, but the nominating committee could not finalize it until yesterday.

 Someone at the meeting could move to suspend the time limitation and the members at the meeting could vote to approve the suspension! But – you gotta be a PTA member to vote!!

 

Be sure to stay after the election for “A conversation with The Principal.”  The principal and host, our president-elect will talk about the concerns of parents and students over Distance Learning. And, if you have any questions you would like the principal to address, email your questions by no later than noon, Wednesday, April 29, 2020, to jon@jwulaw.com
