Happy Summer CP Families,

Believe it or not, school is just around the corner and Princeton Human Services is organizing a back to school supplies drive to help children from low-income families be prepared for school.

Backpacks are most needed, but other supplies that can be donated include binders, notebooks, markers, construction paper, crayons and colored pencils, etc. (See Donors flier) All in-classroom supplies are provided by CP, but rising middle schoolers must purchase all of their own school supplies which can be a burden for many families. Also, it's great for elementary age children to have paper and art supplies at home to reinforce what they are doing in the classroom.

Drop donations off at the Human Services office at One Monument Drive by Friday, August 4.

If you wish to receive school supplies for your child from Princeton Human Services, you can call the Human Services office at 609.688.2055 or apply online at: princetonnj.gov/human-services.html. Application deadline is August 11. (See attached fliers in English and Spanish).

Please spread the word!

Thanks,

Sarah Torian
