The Princeton Public Schools librarians have created a resource list of Black Voices and Anti-racist Literature.
It is NOT all inclusive but is a starting point. On the list you will see a denotation (‡) for books that are 'Community Reads' - a brain child of the PHS English teachers- wherein a text per grade level at PHS, one for JW and one for grades 3-5 have been chosen for community book group discussions to be held (virtually) over the summer (details forthcoming).
The book chosen for grades 3-5 is Rita Williams-Garcia's Clayton Bird Goes Underground. If you have a Princeton Public Library card, the book is available for simultaneous use in ebook and audiobook versions on the Hoopla platform. (If you don't have a card, you can register on PPL's website for a card).
