Welcome Week Thanks

Thank you to everyone who donated their time (or a dish) to help make the return to school a success last week. CP staff enjoyed an al fresco lunch celebration courtesy of the PTO, and a posse of 5th graders led new and kindergarten families on tours of the building. ¡Muchas gracías a todos!

New CP T-Shirts

CP students and staff are sporting a fresh new look--just in time for fall. If your student has not yet received a school shirt, please contact their teacher. (There is no cost; school shirts are provided free by the PTO.)

And shout out to CP parent and graphic designer James Hartley, who created the art. Please give him an elbow bump when you see him!

Halloween Costume Swap
Collection: September 17-October 15
Distribution: mid-October

Clean out your closets and give your child's outgrown Halloween costumes a new home! Gently used children's costumes may be dropped off to bins in CP's lobby starting this Friday, September 17. Donated costumes will be distributed to CP families in mid-October.

Fall Clubs Registration
Registration Starts Friday, September 24
Clubs Start Monday, October 11

After school clubs are back! Stay tuned for a line up of all the in person and virtual clubs that will be offered this season. Registration will take place at Please check your account (or sign up for an account if you don't yet have one) so that you're “ready to register.”

Nomad Pizza Night
Thursday, September 23, 5-9 p.m.
Nomad Pizza Co., 301 N. Harrison, 609-285-5187

Thanks to everyone who ordered from Jules on the first day of school. It was one of their busiest Thursday nights ever!

Let's do it again--this time at Nomad Pizza Co. on September 23. Just remember to order early because it's also (virtual) Back to School Night.

Fall Flower Sale
Order via Konstella September 27-October 4
Pick up by CP entrance October 6 & 7

The PTO will be selling mums, pansies, and fall planters starting Monday, September 27. Place your order via Konstella and pick up your flowers at the school. Easy peasy! All proceeds will support CP's educational garden.

Online Auction Items?

The PTO is organizing an online auction this fall--our biggest fundraiser of the year. Please consider how your family might help by contributing an item or experience for the auction.

Past donations to CP's in-person auctions have included a wide range of items: babysitting, a year's worth of oil changes, a custom cake, a case of wine, and even a week's stay in an Italian villa. Sign up here or email Fundraising Co-Chairs Constanza Ferro and Daniela Cravero at

We Have Venmo!

That's right. Now you can Venmo cash to the Community Park PTO (@CPPTO). Or use the handy QR code pictured here.

Go on, test it. ;)

And for those Zelle users out there, don't worry. You can still donate via the PTO's Zelle email (
