For more information on DLI math, Acting Assistant Superintendent Bob Ginsburg will be following up with a written communication to CP families later this week.
Open PTO Board Meeting
Wednesday, February 3, 9-10 a.m.
Join Zoom Link
Curious what a PTO board meeting looks like? Join us this Wednesday! You're welcome to pop-in for 10 minutes, or stay the whole time.
|Agenda will cover: Updates from the last PTOC meeting with the Superintendent, planning for grade-wide residencies, and the roll-out of the Princeton Perks card fundraiser! This exciting home-grown fundraiser will benefit all four Princeton public elementary schools and is intended to help drive up traffic -- and sales -- at local businesses. We will brainstorm on the most effective ways to sell these cards to our community.|
Family Science Talk: Black Holes!
Saturday, February 6, 11 a.m.
Join Robbert Dijkgraaf, Director and Leon Levy Professor at the Institute for Advanced Study, for a family-friendly virtual talk on black holes.
Black holes are perhaps the most puzzling prediction of Einstein’s theory of relativity. They squash all matter to a point, trap light, stop time, and cause some of the most violent explosions in the cosmos. Recently, scientists have been able to “hear” the collisions of black holes, and even “see” a massive black hole in a far away galaxy.
