Book Collection for 5th Grade Fundraiser
Now through Friday, December 16th
Book collection is back! We're looking for gently used or nearly new books for grades Kindergarten through 5th. You can drop books off in the front entrance of CP. These books will be sold as a 5th grade fundraiser the last week before Winter Break!

 

First Friday Coffee
Friday, December 2 at 8:10 am
Join members of the CP PTO for community, feedback and connection. Share ideas, sign up for events or to host a POP, and let us know any questions/concerns you have about our community. All are welcome, hope to see you there!

 

 

Sign up to host a P.O.P!!!

Parties organized by parents (and other members of our community) are a wonderful way to a) fundraise for the CP PTO and b) build community through children, family, or adult centered events. Click here to sign up to host a party - maybe a wine tasting night for adults or a teach a students how to bike event, or something totally new that we have not even considered! Bring your creativity and help support out community! If you have any questions please email at cppto@cppto.org or message on Konstella. We look forward to seeing your party ideas!

 

 

Volunteer to help plan our Winter Fundraiser!
Join a wonderful group of CP parents to help put together our winter fundraiser. Bring your love of celebrations and parties to help create a fun night that also supports our wonderful school. We need support for decor, music, raffles, meals, and any other exciting parts that the team comes up with together.  We can't wait to have your help! P.O.P spots still available -  The Arthur Christmas Movie!

Many community members have come together to offer wonderful options to celebrate and come together for adults as well as for the children of our community. Spaces are still available  for the Arthur Christmas movie viewing on December 5th. See the links below to sign up and join! These events are a wonderful way to spend time with the community, and do something fun. We hope to see you all there!

Your children have worked very hard with Mrs. Shea, our art teacher, on beautiful handprint pop art (Kindergarten) and colorful parrots (1st thru 4th Grade). And for the first time, our 5th Graders were given the opportunity to create a colorful parrot selected by Mrs. Shea or create their own individual work of art! Thank you to Mrs. Shea for allowing them to showcase their skills!!

Why: Order by November 23rd so that we receive the maximum profit of 33%! Orders after the 23rd will still earn money for CP but at a lower profit. All funds benefit CP students and staff through grade-level residencies and programs run by CP's PTO. Go here for information how to order!

Princeton Center for Complex Materials Holiday Lecture: Engine Earth
Saturday, December 3 at 10:00 am or 1:00 pm.
Join us at the 2022 Holiday Science Lecture for families as we explore the science behind the climate of our home, planet Earth. We will use experiments and interactive demonstrations to understand how the sun, atmosphere, oceans, land, and human activity affect the operation of “engine earth.” Come and be a scientist with us as we learn how measurements and models can help us understand our climate and how it is changing! An Evening of Readings & Carols - 30th Anniversary 
Princeton University Chapel
Friday, Dec. 9 & Saturday, Dec. 10 - 8:00 pm
Westminster Choir College of Rider University's popular holiday concert returns with evenings of holiday music and readings, featuring performances by Chapel Choir, Symphonic Choir, Jubilee Singers, and the Westminster Choir. Go here to buy tickets!

 

 

Morven Museum & Garden - Festival of Trees
Now until January 8, 2023
Morven’s annual winter exhibition has become a must-see holiday tradition. Visitors enjoy the museum’s elegant galleries, mantels, and porches artfully decorated for the holidays by local businesses, garden clubs, and non-profit organizations. The installation is open to the public during regular museum hours, Wednesdays through Sundays, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Walk up admission tickets and museum passes are subject to availability in our museum shop. Annual Menorah Lighting at Palmer Square
Tuesday, December 20 at 4:00 pm
It has been a tradition for many years to celebrate Hanukkah in Palmer Square and we invite everyone to join us for this ceremonial festivity. There will be great music, and great fun!
