Welcome (Back) Parent Coffee & PTO Meeting
Welcome (back) to CP! To celebrate the start of the school year, the PTO invites all parents and caregivers to please join us for coffee and a sweet treat in the CP Café from 8:30-9 a.m. While it's mostly a social half-hour, we'll meet briefly to outline our work.
Can't make it? Check out our website to learn more about the PTO (you're already a member--ALL CP parents and teachers are automatically enrolled).

The PTO designed and purchased CP folders, planners, and T-shirts for each child. Don't forget to wear your CP spirit gear on Final Fridays and field trip days! |
The PTO celebrated the start of the school year with a luncheon for CP staff. Thank you to everyone who donated funds, brought a dish, or volunteered at the event. |

Fifth Graders (and a few recent CP alumni) led tours for Kindergarteners and new families on August 29. Thank you to all the kid tour guides and the parent volunteers who organized the tours! |
The PTO gives all teachers an annual budget for supplies and supports special projects and events. Stay tuned for more info about Recess Runners and an all-school kindness activity funded by the PTO. |

CP Bicibús / El bicibús de CP
The Bicibús--CP's bicycle "bus" to school--happens every Friday at 7:50 a.m., rain or shine (but not when there is snow or ice)! Join the ride anywhere along the route to get some exercise, help the environment, build community, and have fun!
¡El Bicibús--un autobús de bicicletas a la escuela--se llevará a cabo todos los viernes a las 7:50 a.m., llueva o truene (pero no si hay nieve or hielo)!

If you plan to participate, please ensure that your child has a helmet, that they know how to ride, and that they understand that racing is not allowed.
