All parents with students in K to grade 5 are invited to join Ms. Sarah Moore and the PPS elementary education team on Thursday, April 13 at 6:30 PM, for a live webinar about Elementary Curriculum and Instruction. This will be an opportunity to:
• Preview the Math Workshop Methodology

• Learn more about the new QUEST program
• Explore Structured Literacy
• Discuss Responsive Classroom
• Celebrate the success of the Scripps National Spelling Bee and Continental Math League!
Keep an eye out for other BOE meetings (Next one is tomorrow, March 28th) and for BOE committee meetings. Go HERE for a list of all their meetings.
The CP PTO Needs You! Volunteer for the different leadership positions in the PTO!
Without the hard work of busy parents like you, CP students would miss out on many fun activities (such as ART RESIDENCIES, After School Clubs, STEM day, science fair, picture day, field day, class parties, and more)! Sadly, many of our volunteers will move on as their children move up to middle school! It is time for new, fresh faces to step in and make CP what YOU want it to be! Check out the Konstella post for more information here.
Go HERE to fill out an interest form - this is not a commitment but we will contact you to check availability and where you would like to step in!
CP STEAM Day - Call for Presenters!
STEAM DAY is approaching! We are looking for presenters on topics that include Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math! This year we've added the "A" to include Arts! It's an amazing day filled with presentations to the students. The presentations are only 15 minutes each as classes cycle through the day! I had the opportunity to present last year and it was so great to be a part of the day! Please consider presenting in any of the five (5) areas!
For more info or to present, please reach out to Chris Santarpio at CPSteamDay@gmail.com. If you know of anyone else (company, university, high school, etc) that would be interested in presenting (or any suggestions) for STEAM Day, please also let us know! Thank you!

Sustainable Princeton Recycling Program
Did you know that one cell phone thrown in a landfill can pollute 40,000 gallons of groundwater*? Sustainable Princeton can help upcycle and recycle some of your hard-to-recycle items, like cell phones and accessories, plastic film, batteries, ink cartridges, and reusable bags. Help keep these items out of the landfill. Simply drop the items off outside the Sustainable Princeton office on the second floor of 1 Monument Drive, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and we’ll take care of the rest. Feel free to stop in and learn more about Sustainable Princeton!
