This Week: CP Book Fair

Tuesday, March 11 through Friday, March 14 in the CP Gym

Hours:

  • Tuesday, March 11: 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.
  • Wednesday, March 12: 8:30 am - 4:15 p.m. (parents shop from 3 - 4:14 p.m.!)
  • Thursday, March 13: 8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.
  • Friday, March 14: 8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.

To Buy Books:

  • Send your child with cash on the day their class visits the Book Fair
  • Purchase a digital card for your child to use to buy book before Tuesday, March 11 (Literati does not use e-wallet)
  • Buy books for your child from 3 - 4:15 pm on Wednesday, March 12
  • Review a wishlist created by your child during their classroom visit and send them to school with payment by Friday, March 14

To Donate (so our Parker Bear kids may each take home a book):

  • Zelle: Send Zelle payment to treasurer@cppto.org. (Note "Bookfair")
  • Venmo: Send Venmo payment to @CPPTO. (Note "Bookfair")

STEAM Day

CP's Annual STEAM Day is Monday, March 19!

The PTO's STEAM Day Committee has put together  a wonderful day-long program of hands-on learning--but we still need your help! Please volunteer to set-up, clean up, and serve lunch at this beloved event.

CP Spanish Summer Camps

Campamentos de verano de CP

The PTO is hosting Spanish-language summer camp for rising K-5th graders from June 23-27, 2025. These beloved annual camps take place at CP and are taught by CP teachers.

  • Kindergarten Camp, $50, 8 - 9 a.m.
  • 1st-5th Grade Camp,  $175,  9 a.m. - 12 p.m. (8:30 a.m. drop-off available for an additional fee)
  • Parent volunteers needed! Volunteers receive a $35 discount (Spanish skills NOT necessary).
  • Both camps are FREE for children who qualify for free or reduced lunch (call the CP main office at 609-806-4230 or email scholarships@cppto.org).

Our streamlined auction includes a few amazing big-ticket items and fantastic artwork created by the kids in each grade and each PreK class. Bid today to help us reach our 2024-2025 fundraising goals! Bidding ends March 12 at 8 p.m.

Tickets are available at our Ludus ticket website.  Tickets: $15 Adults, $10 Students/Seniors. All tickets are General Admission Seating. Doors will open 30 minutes before curtain time. Princeton 5K and Kids Dash
Ready to shake off the winter blues? Run with our new Superintendent of Princeton Public Schools, Dr. Michael LaSusa at Princeton High School on March 22nd for the Princeton 5K and Kids Dash. He would love to help new runners cross the finish line!  
This is a great opportunity to meet and connect with the Princeton community while promoting health and wellness. The event helps raise funds to support the PHS Cross Country and Track and Field teams. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just starting out, everyone is welcome.

Einstein was born on March 14 — 3.14 — the numeric equivalent of Pi. Activities take place throughout Princeton with the following events held at the library:

  • 10:30 a.m. - Einstein Story Time – Third Floor Story Room
  • 11 a.m. - Einstein Look-A-Like Contest with the Princeton Tour Company (registration required) - Community Room
  • Noon - Pi Recitation Contest with the Princeton Tour Company (registration required) - Community Room (followed by the Pi-rade on Hinds Plaza)
  • 1 p.m.  Kids Pi Day Math Circle – 3rd Floor CoLab Space
  • 2 p.m.  Hands On Einstein Exploration Station with the Princeton Einstein Museum of Science – 3rd Floor Pop Up Programming Space
  • 2:30 p.m.  Einstein Facts and Fun with the Historical Society of Princeton – 3rd Floor Story Room
  • 4 p.m.  Presentation by Benyamin Cohen, author of "The Einstein Effect" – Community Room
