STEM Expo Presenters Needed!
Monday, April 25
The CP PTO is excited that the annual Community Park STEM Expo is back this year -- to be held on Monday, April 25. It's a treat for both students and teachers to enjoy a break from regular school routines to immerse themselves in seeing science in action in very cool ways for the entire day. To make the event successful, we need parent volunteers who work in STEM fields willing to spend a day at school sharing some aspect of the work they do. Presentation time slots run around 15 minutes at a time, and the classes cycle throughout the day to visit each of the demos.
If you are in the STEM field, we need you! See attached 2019 program for examples of demos, and please volunteer if you can. The students love it, and they are especially excited and proud when their parents present! If you have any questions, please reach out to Jesse Lerman ( who is organizing the event.  Go here for more information to volunteer for this exciting event!

Register for the Science Fair!
Thursday, April 28 - 6 - 8 p.m.
Sign up for the CP Science Fair. Students can come up with a question about whatever interests them and develop an experiment to share what they discover with the community.  There is more information here. Sign up by April 22!

CP Kickball Tournament
Sunday, May 1
Who will win?!? Come watch the 5th graders face off against parents and teachers in a high-stakes kickball tournament! There will also be a raffle and special baked treats for sale. This event is free and open to all CP families and neighbors. Come and cheer on your favorite team!

CP Spring Flower Sale!
