Teacher Appreciation Week

The PTO has some amazing surprises planned for our teachers this week! We're keeping the details from our staff to heighten the fun, so please check your Konstella feed to see how you and your child can celebrate CP's fantastic teachers!

Your PTO at Work: Recess Runners

The PTO paid for charms and necklaces for the new Recess Runners program! Students run or walk the playground loop at recess and receive a charm for each mile they complete as part of a school-wide initiative promoting mental and physical health.

Volunteer for the 2024-2025 PTO

We're actively planning for next year and are calling all parents, caregivers, and teachers to reflect on what kind of volunteering you can do to help our school flourish.

  • Want to set the agenda for the year, get to know the principal, and collaborate with other PPS schools?
    • Volunteer to be a co-president!
  • Do you have a child who receives special education services?
    • Be the special education parent advisory group liaison and provide valuable feedback to PPS!
  • Do you have special knowledge of Spanish language or cultures?
    • Sign up to lead our Spanish language & cultural ambassadors team!
  • Are you an amazing party host?
    • Organize the Halloween Parade, plan the fall fundraising party, or coordinate our POP events!
  • Do you have organizational skills and time to lead a finite project?
    • We need your help to coordinate the online auction or our Silvergraphics fundraiser!
  • Are you able to attend some evening or morning PTO meetings and wrangle other grade level parents via email?
    • Register to be a Grade Rep for preK, 3rd, or 5th Grades!

Click here for more details about the critical roles we must fill in order to continue supporting our children and staff.  All parents and caregivers are welcome to volunteer for any role!
