Pictures should have gone home with your student yesterday (Monday). However, several people have reported problems with their order, such as receiving the wrong student photo or wrong class picture.
Please email Kim Byko with any issues at email@example.com. There will be a make up photo day if necessary, but we need to assess the issues before we announce a make up date.
Thanksgiving Pie Orders Due TODAY
This is the final day to place your order for a delicious pie from Randazzo's Pastry Shop! Will it be pumpkin? Pecan? Vegan sweet potato? So many choices.
Place your order on Konstella now. Pick it up from the CP lobby either Tuesday, November 26, or Wednesday, November 27.
And if you don't eat pie, you can sweeten another's Thanksgiving Day by ordering a pie to be donated to Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK). A portion of all proceeds support 5th grade activities, including the Class of 2020's gift to CP and their community service project.
Last Call for Mrs. Jones's 4th & 5th Grade Bookclubs
If your 4th or 5th Grader was interested in attending one of Mrs. Jones's Breakfast Book Clubs, time is running out to register. Please sign up this week via Konstella so your student has time to read the book. See below for details on each book club.
Save Your McCaffrey's Receipts
Remember to save your receipts when you shop at McCaffrey's Food Market in the Princeton Shopping Center. CP receives 0.95% from each receipt, which amounts to significant funds by the end of each year.
Send them to school with your student to put in the "McCaffrey's Box" located in the front lobby. Note: McCaffrey’s receipts expire three months from the purchase date so send them regularly.
Questions? Contact 5th Grade Rep, Bevin Cahill, via Konstella or text 917-297-8489.
Winter Clothing Drive: **Help Needed**
**We still need lots of help sorting donations on Friday, November 22, from 3-5 p.m. It's a quick job and your student is welcome to help. Sign up here.**
Las Manos Amigas*: Spread the Holiday Cheer!
As you prepare to sit down with family and friends this Thanksgiving, please consider making a Princeton child's holiday wish come true by applying to become a donor for Princeton Human Services 21st Annual Holiday Gift Drive. Children up to the age of 12 will be filling out a holiday wish list, which will include two gifts they need (or would like) to receive for the holidays. Sign up by Friday, November 29. Then have your student help with the shopping.
*Las Manos Amigas is a weekly community-oriented activity suggested by CP PTO's Community Outreach duo, Sarah Torian and Dena Hoffman.
Parent Surveys for FOCUS Program
Last week, Princeton Public Schools emailed parents and caregivers a survey to help teachers better understand how to meet each child's educational enrichment needs. It's one of several ways the district is assessing student interests and aptitude for FOCUS, the new district-wide gifted and talented enrichment program. See instructions below, if you wish to fill out the online survey. All parent and caregiver surveys are due by Wednesday, November 27.
If you have questions about FOCUS or the survey, contact Annie Gonzalez Kosek, the assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction, at 609.806.4203 or AnnieKosek@princetonk12.org.
Directions for the FOCUS Survey:
Jammin' With Santa
When: Saturday, November 23, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Come jam to some holiday tunes with the Princeton High School Studio Band! There will be brunch, games, prizes, arts and crafts, plus photo ops with Santa and Mrs Claus. $10 suggested donation.
