THANK YOU!

As the year comes to a close, we'd like extend our gratitude to everyone who served in a leadership role, volunteered, donated, or attended a PTO event. Thanks to your support, the PTO:

  • Purchased classroom supplies, CP T-shirts and folders, and replaced broken playground equipment
  • Funded school-wide events including recess runners, author visits, and a dance day
  • Extended the curriculum with after-school clubs, grade-level artist residencies, STEAM Day, the Science and International Culture Fairs, and Spanish summer camps
  • Built community through picnics, coffees, playdates, new family tours, and parent mixers
  • Made it possible for students to attend programs, clubs, and other events regardless of their ability to pay.

THANK YOU to Erica Snyder for serving a two-year term as co-president. She's been an outstanding leader, colleague, and advocate for our community, and we are thrilled that she's agreed to help run some events next year.

After three years as V.P. of communications, I'm moving on to the middle school with my youngest child. I'm grateful to have been a part of this wonderful community of parents and teachers--you truly make "CP a Great Place to Be(e)!"

Ciclovía Princeton

June 22, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Click for the full schedule of activities!

“Ciclovía” is a Spanish term that means cycleway, or a temporary closing of streets to automobiles for cyclists and pedestrians. Ciclovia Princeton will temporarily “reimagine” a few roads within town — Walnut Ln from Houghton Rd to Guyot Ave — maximizing this public space with engaging, all-ages activities that bring us together to socialize, get creative, and move freely.

Along the route, you are invited to pick up stretching and mobility tips in free yoga demonstrationsget moving at Capoeira workshopbrush up your skills in a bike safety area, watch as chalk murals come to life, and discover moments of live music in motion. There will also be a bike decorating contest, where we encourage you to use sourced and recycled materials to transform your bikes

Ciclovia Princeton is presented by Sustainable Princeton and the Arts Council of Princeton, with support from the Municipality of Princeton.
