Questions for Dr. Kelley?

PPS Superintendent Dr. Kelley will be joining parents at the CP PTO meeting on October 21, 7:00-8:00 p.m. (Zoom details to be sent separately). What topics would you like her to address? What should she know about CP or our students? Let her know by submitting a question here in advance of the meeting. All questions are due Sunday, October 17.

 

CP Halloween Parade is ON!
Friday, October 29, 2:00 p.m.

We looovvveee Halloween at CP! And are happy to confirm that the annual parade around the CP playground is on. Please note: All costumes must accommodate a face mask. There is a limit to two guests per student and all guests must mask on school grounds. More details to come soon!

And don't forget, this is the final week of the Halloween costume swap. If you have gently used costumes to donate, please drop them at CP by Friday, October 15. 

 

October Food Drive
October 18-25

CP is partnering with Princeton Mobile Food Pantry to collect items for our neighbors who are experiencing food insecurity.

As the holidays draw near, PMFP is in desperate need of:

  • Dry beans (pintos or black beans--no chickpeas or lentils, please)
  • Sugar
  • Flour
  • Personal hygiene products
Please place all donations in the bins near CP entrances. Thanks for your kindness!
 

 

 

Party Boards Sign Ups are Here!

Over the next few weeks, we will be posting sign ups for a variety of party boards for kids, families, and adults only. This week we are selling tickets for two upcoming kid parties:

  • Pumpkin Carving in the CP Garden
    Saturday, October 23, 10 a.m.-Noon
    ($15/student)

    Join CP Garden Educator, Peter Wagner, for pumpkin carving, a story, and fall snacks. This is a drop off party. Suggested for Grades 3-5. Hosted by the CP Garden Committee.
  • Learn to Ride a Bike!
    Sunday, October 24, 2-4 p.m.
    ($15/student)

    Our veteran teachers will get your kids on their bikes and feeling comfortable. One rider per teacher. Hosted by the Besler, Kapoor, Meggers, and Scibienski families.

Mark Your Calendar for CP's Online Auction
Bidding open November 1-15

Thank you everyone for donating an item or experience to CP's first ever online auction. We've got some good stuff! The auction will launch Monday, November 1, and you'll have two weeks to place your bids. 

And if you haven't yet donated something to the auction, there's still time. Sign up here or email Fundraising Co-Chairs Constanza Ferro and Daniela Cravero at fundraising@cppto.org by October 15. Auction items should be received by November 1.

ArtJam Gallery Returns to Princeton

ArtJam will once again transform a storefront in Palmer Square into a pop-up art gallery where art lovers may browse a fab selection of works from professional artists and undiscovered artists who have experienced homelessness.
