Clubs Can't Run Without You!
|Please help! Many clubs still need a parent or caregiver volunteer in order to run this winter. No expertise is required and you get an awesome perk: You may enroll your student in the club of their choice. For more information, click here or email Tina Ivanov at firstname.lastname@example.org.|
Will You "Orchestrate" the Music Recital?
CP's annual music recital is fast approaching and we need a parent or caregiver volunteer to assist with these duties:
- Coordinating a date with the school
- Notifying students and parents of the opportunity
- Organizing the event.
If you're interested or would like further information about this volunteer opportunity, please email Lauren Valvanis at email@example.com.

Bagels with the Board
Friday, January 3, At Drop-off
Where: CP Front Entrance
|Mark your calendars for a very special First Friday Coffee with members of the Princeton Board of Education. All CP parents and caregivers are welcome to stop by for some coffee and conversation. And the board will bring the bagels!|
Parker Bear Gift Card Fund
Donate now through Monday, December, 16
Please help us to provide holiday gift cards for each of our Parker Bear* families. The gift cards will help families to make purchases based on their own needs this holiday season. Donations may be made via Konstella, now through Monday, December 16. Please consider giving any amount. Every bit helps brighten the season.
Note: Gifts are eligible for employer matching contributions.
*The Parker Bear Fund provides after school and summer enrichment opportunities for CP students in the free and reduced lunch program, as well as material needs to promote equity in school activities.
CP Library Wish List
When you find yourself on Amazon this holiday season, please consider adding a little something from the CP Library Wish List to your cart. The CP PTO is helping the library to expand its collection of Spanish titles, as well as replenish many well-worn favorites in English. Books on the wish list start as low as $4!
And remember: Every time you shop on Amazon, the AmazonSmile Foundation will contribute 0.5 percent of eligible purchases to the CP PTO. To get started, go to smile.amazon.com and select "Community Park School Parent Teacher Organization, Inc." as your designated charity. It's an effortless way to give with every purchase.
CP Gear Holiday Sale
Now Through Tuesday, December 17
Help clean out the PTO closet! Save up to 30 percent on most CP spirit gear--including school shirts, water bottles, and tote bags. Also check out our super discounted "vintage" items (e.g., with old CP logos). Items will be delivered to your student's classroom within one-to-three school days. All proceeds support CP.
Thank You! From Ms. Magnus's 3rd Grade
Ms. Magnus's third grade class collected 58 sets of pajamas for the non-profit Pajama Program. Thanks to their effort, Scholastic Book Clubs will donate 58 books to children affected by instability. Thanks everyone for donating!
Las Manos Amigas*: Bingo!
Who's up for a round of “Random Acts of Kindness Bingo”?
Here's how to play: Download the bingo card attached to this newsletter. Complete a row, column, or diagonal by marking each act of kindness you complete. Write your name on the card and drop it in CP PTO mailbox by January 10 for a chance to win $25 worth of CP gear. The winner's name will be announced in the weekly PTO newsletter. Note: Just one entry per student.
Las Manos Amigas is a weekly community-oriented activity suggested by CP PTO's Community Outreach duo, Sarah Torian and Dena Hoffman.
Riverside Parent Freed From Iran!
Welcome home, Xiyue Wang! Many CP parents were concerned about this Riverside parent's welfare during his time in captivity in Iran. We're overjoyed for him to be reunited with his family here in Princeton. Read more about his release.
