NEW: Recycle Your Wine Corks at CP

That's right! All those corks from New Year's Eve can now be dropped off for recycling in the CP Lobby. The donated cork will find new life as footwear, yoga blocks, or traction pads, among other items.
And don't forget, CP also recycles:
  • Stretchy Plastic (plastic bags, wrapping) - Help us win the TREX Competition's Northeastern bracket!

  • Plastic Bottle Caps - To be recycled with Take 5. Our classroom reusable partyware is made from recycled #5 plastic.

  • Crayons and Markers - To be recycled by Crayola.

  • Dental and Beauty Products - Terracycle accepts toothbrushes, toothpaste containers, lotion containers, and more.
  • Bread bag tags - The tags provide wheelchairs for Danielle Cares for Chairs.

Bagels with the Board
Friday, January 3, At Drop-off
Where: CP Front Entrance

Mark your calendars for a very special First Friday Coffee with members of the Princeton Board of Education. All CP parents and caregivers are welcome to stop by for some coffee and conversation. And the board will bring the bagels!

Thanks for Your Generosity!

Wow! We asked and CP delivered. Our school has successfully raised enough money to give each of our 65 Parker Bear Fund* families a $25 gift card to help them celebrate this holiday season. It warms the heart. Thank you! Thank you!

*The Parker Bear Fund provides after school and summer enrichment opportunities for CP students in the free and reduced lunch program, as well as material needs to promote equity in school activities.

CP Library Wish List

When you find yourself on Amazon this holiday season, please consider adding a little something from the CP Library Wish List to your cart. The CP PTO is helping the library to expand its collection of Spanish titles, as well as replenish many well-worn favorites in English. Books on the wish list start as low as $4!

And remember: Every time you shop on Amazon, the AmazonSmile Foundation will contribute 0.5 percent of eligible purchases to the CP PTO. To get started, go to and select "Community Park School Parent Teacher Organization, Inc." as your designated charity. It's an effortless way to give with every purchase.

CP Gear Holiday Sale
