PTO Meeting with PPS Facilities Manager David Harding
When: Friday, January 17, 8:30 a.m.
Where: Community Park APR (aka Cafeteria)
David Harding, PPS director of plant operations, who also manages district facilities, will present at our next PTO meeting. If you have specific topics or questions for him to address, let us know here. Please submit your response by this Friday, January 10.
Bagels with the Board
So many members of the Princeton Board of Education showed up to CP last Friday morning that they almost had to declare it an official meeting. Thanks to those members, and to the many CP parents, caregivers, and staff, who showed up to chat about the issues most important to our school and district.
Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?!
When: Friday, February 7, 7:00 p.m.
Where: JW Auditorium, 217 Walnut Lane
Come watch adults test their mental acumen against CP's 5th graders! The 5th grade is putting on a special "game show" to raise money for their class gift and end-of-year activities--and have a whole lot of laughs at the grown ups' expense. Principal Gruchacz will act as host. All 5th graders may attend for free. Everyone else may purchase tickets on Konstella ($5 students, $10 adults).
Adult Party: Virtual Reality for Impact, Change, and Fun
When: Friday, January, 25, 7 to 9 p.m.
Where: A Secret Basement at Princeton University
There are still 4 spots available for our first adult party of the new year: Parents Alex Glaser and Paloma Moscardo invite you to experience how Virtual Reality can be used for innovative storytelling and advance real-world causes. They will offer a number of award-winning VR adventures on different topics, ranging from the personal to the biggest challenges of our time. Meet with the creators. Reception to follow. Registration required.
Rock Climbing Party for 3rd and 4th Graders
When: Saturday, January 26, 4 to 6 p.m.
Where: Rockville Climbing Center, 200 Whitehead Road, Hamilton
One lucky student can still join this awesome drop-off party! She or he will enjoy an hour and a half of rock climbing supervised by Rockville staff, followed by pizza and snacks. Hosted by parents Lauren and Nick Valvanis. Registration required.
