Fall After-School Clubs are coming soon!

Clubs will run for 6 weeks, beginning on Tuesday, October 7th. Specific dates are as follows:

Tuesday: Oct. 7, 14, 21, 28, Nov. 11, Dec. 2 (Make-up: Dec. 9)

Wednesday: Oct. 8, 15, 22, 29, Nov. 12, Dec. 3 (Make-up: Dec. 10)

Thursday: Oct. 9, 16, 23, 30, Nov. 13, Dec. 4 (Make-up: Dec. 11)

Friday: Oct. 10, 17, 24, Nov. 14, Dec. 5, 12 (Make-up: Dec. 19) No Club on Halloween Friday 

Weekly Fall 2025 Schedule:

CLUB REGISTRATION remains first-come, first-served. The registration period will start at 8 PM on WEDNESDAY, 9/24.

You will be walked through the registration steps and can search for Community Park Elementary School. If you have any questions about the registration process please email cpafclubs@gmail.com

COST: The cost of a 6-week session is $110 ($107 for the club + $3 Homeroom service fee). (NOTE: The enrollment fee for some clubs may be higher due to material expenses). Clubs are non-refundable after the clubs have started and will be considered a donation to the CP PTO.

SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AVAILABLE! To request a scholarship, please email scholarships@cppto.org as soon as possible (before registration opens is encouraged) so that we have time to process the request.

VOLUNTEERS ARE STILL NEEDED! We CANNOT run clubs without parent volunteers! If you wish to be a CP PTO parent volunteer for all 6 weeks of clubs, your child will attend at no cost to you, and you can register before the general enrollment. POTENTIAL CLUB SCHEDULE CHANGES:

• Please be aware that the club you want may be canceled due to low enrollment. Clubs that need a CP parent volunteer and don’t have one will also be canceled. Clubs that are under-enrolled may be canceled, and there may be other issues that arise that cause us to cancel a club as well. If a club your child would like to take is canceled, your payment will be refunded.

• We will attempt to reschedule club sessions that are canceled due to illness of the instructor, but might not be able to depending on the circumstance. Please note the makeup date that has been reserved for each club.

• NO REFUNDS will be issued for any reason once clubs have started, other than a club that has been canceled. Your payment is a contribution to the CP PTO, not a “fee for service.”

LOGISTICS AND THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND:

• Clubs will begin at CP as soon as the school day ends. If your child is in K-1 they will remain in the library until the instructor picks them up.

• Pickup is at 4 PM SHARP! Many CP students go to the aftercare program at CP after clubs end, and you will be able to indicate that preference on your registration. Only students in grades 4 and 5 may be dismissed to walk home independently. We reserve the right to terminate the participation of a student in a club if a student is repeatedly picked up late, determined at our sole discretion. If you know that you are unable to pick your child up on time, please don’t register your child for a CP PTO club. 

• We reserve the right to terminate the participation of a student in a club if the student is unable to constructively participate in the club, determined at our sole discretion.

• There is no nurse on duty at CP during after school clubs and clubs are run by instructors and parent volunteers who are NOT trained to administer medication. In the event of a medical emergency, 911 will be called. If a child is ill or requires medication during a club session, you will be called and asked to pick up your child earlier than 4 pm. 

• Many of our children have allergies or eating restrictions, so no food or drink is allowed in clubs (except water).

CP Clubes Después de la Escuela, Otoño 2025

Los clubes se llevarán a cabo durante 6 semanas, comenzando el martes 7 de octubre. Las fechas específicas son las siguientes:
Martes: 7, 14, 21, 28 de octubre; 11 de noviembre; 2 de diciembre (Recuperación: 9 de diciembre)
Miércoles: 8, 15, 22, 29 de octubre; 12 de noviembre; 3 de diciembre (Recuperación: 10 de diciembre)

REGISTRO DE CLUBES será por orden de llegada. El período de inscripción comenzará a las 8 PM el miércoles 24 de septiembre.

¡TODAVÍA SE NECESITAN VOLUNTARIOS! ¡No podemos organizar los clubes sin voluntarios padres! Si deseas ser un padre voluntario del CP PTO durante las 6 semanas de clubes, tu hijo podrá asistir sin costo y podrás registrarlo antes de la inscripción general. POSIBLES CAMBIOS EN EL HORARIO DE LOS CLUBES:

• Ten en cuenta que el club que deseas puede ser cancelado debido a baja inscripción. Los clubes que necesiten un voluntario padre y no lo tengan también serán cancelados. Los clubes con baja inscripción pueden cancelarse, y pueden surgir otros problemas que nos obliguen a cancelar un club. Si se cancela un club al que tu hijo quería asistir, tu pago será reembolsado.

• Intentaremos reprogramar las sesiones canceladas debido a enfermedad del instructor, pero puede que no siempre sea posible, dependiendo de las circunstancias. Por favor toma en cuenta la fecha de recuperación reservada para cada club.

• NO HABRÁ REEMBOLSOS por ninguna otra razón una vez que los clubes hayan comenzado, salvo que un club sea cancelado. Tu pago se considera una contribución al CP PTO, no una “tarifa por servicio”.

LOGÍSTICA Y COSAS A TENER EN CUENTA:

• Los clubes comenzarán en CP tan pronto como termine la jornada escolar. Si tu hijo está en K-1 permanecerá en la biblioteca hasta que el instructor lo recoja.

• La recogida es a las 4 PM EN PUNTO. Muchos estudiantes de CP asisten al programa de cuidado después de clases en CP, y podrás indicar esa preferencia en tu inscripción. Solo los estudiantes de 4.º y 5.º grado podrán salir caminando solos. Nos reservamos el derecho de terminar la participación de un estudiante en un club si es recogido tarde repetidamente, a nuestra sola discreción. Si sabes que no podrás recoger a tu hijo a tiempo, por favor no lo inscribas en un club del CP PTO.

No hay enfermera de guardia en CP durante los clubes después de la escuela, y los clubes son dirigidos por instructores y padres voluntarios que NO están capacitados para administrar medicamentos. En caso de una emergencia médica, se llamará al 911. Si un niño se enferma o necesita medicación durante una sesión del club, se le llamará y se le pedirá que recoja a su hijo antes de las 4 pm.

Muchos de nuestros niños tienen alergias o restricciones alimenticias, por lo tanto, no se permite comida ni bebida en los clubes (excepto agua).
