Fundraiser and Spirit Week!

Next week we will celebrate Read Across The Sea by participating in a Sea themed spirit week and ocean fundraiser! All month students have been learning about the ocean, including ocean protection, natural disasters, transportation, sports and athletes, and lots of different ocean animals! We also had a special visit with the NJ Department of Environmental Protection to talk about water conservation and sand!

5th graders are leading our fundraising project and hope to raise money for the Clean Ocean Action, which helps protect marine waters off the New Jersey and New York coast. 

Our fundraiser will be all next week during lunch times! 5th graders will sell ocean themed pencils, squishies, bubbles, and bookmarks for 75 cents each. We will also sell small beach balls and straws for $1! Thank you in advance for your support!

Thursday, March 6th-Coral Reef Day!

Wear bright coral reef colors!

Friday, March 7th-Read Across The Sea Day!

Wear your ocean themed clothes and colors!
