On Tuesday, September 10 at 7PM at Valley Road, the Board of Education will meet in public session to consider our planning process to accommodate enrollment growth in a manner consistent with our educational mission. Milone & MacBroom, a planning firm with extensive school master planning/community engagement experience, will present.
The Board is considering retaining M&M to coordinate a collaborative planning process, with community input, to develop optimal, financially-viable alternatives to address current and future facilities needs, in light of known and anticipated residential growth in Princeton.
Given the importance of this planning work for our schools and for the entire community, we hope that interested parents might attend Tuesday's public meeting, and we welcome your thoughts and suggestions as we consider next steps.
You also may be interested to know that at our September 24th meeting (7:30PM), the Board will receive a quarterly progress update on referendum projects, which will review ongoing projects and the timeline for the remaining work.
