School pictures will take place on
- Nov. 10 for Cohorts A (9am-12pm) and C (12:45-2pm, sign up for a time here)
- Nov. 12 for Cohort B
Please note that at the present time the school pictures will take place outside under a tent. Dress your children appropriately! This year we are using a new photographer, BNL Photography. Packages and payments can be made online with BNL here with prepay code 9H6P4Q4S. Paper order forms were sent home with your child on Wednesday. If you have any questions please contact Kim Byko at firstname.lastname@example.org or Georgette Stern at email@example.com.
Please see the safety protocol from the photographer below:
Our new safety protocols follow the guidelines or recommendations of the CDC, the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), and local public health standards related to COVID-19.
All staff will be required to complete our safety training course as part of our fall training program.
All photographers will have their temperature taken before the start of each shift. Everyone is instructed to stay home and get tested if they are having symptoms. Additional health checks as required by the school will be accommodated.
All staff will clearly mark their working space to maintain a distance of at least 6 feet by all parties.
Each photograph has a supply of custom cones to place 6 foot markers in the photo area to maintain distance between each student.
Our staff will follow new posing and social distancing requirements to ensure a safe and comfortable photography session. This includes a contactless check-in as well as contactless posing.
All students will be photographed standing this year to avoid any issues with cross contamination.
Each photography station is equipped with a sneeze guard to protect the student and our staff. Similar to the checkout process in a retail store, students will identify themselves so we can check them in on our laptop. If the student has an order envelope, they will slide the envelope through the small opening in the sneeze guard.
Props, surfaces and equipment will be disinfected throughout the day.
Photographers will always be required to wear a mask and carry essential sanitization items.
Due to the restrictions currently in place, we will not be able to take the traditional class photo. Our hope is to preserve this tradition by scheduling a day in the spring where we can do class groups outdoors as a second fundraising event and celebrate coming back together. In the event restrictions are still in place, we will have a composite option available to our schools.
