Update for 5th Grade Parents & Caregivers
Fri, Oct 15 7:24am

Thanks to everyone who has signed up to volunteer for our 5th graders. We've got most things covered, but could still use some help with the legacy gift, yearbook, community service, and Thanksgiving Pie sale. If you're able to pitch in somehow, please email us or sign up here

And now some updates:

  • T-Shirts: Done! The 5th graders voted on their favorite t-shirt design this week (thank you, 5th grade teachers for facilitating this!). They ranked three designs created by Val Koxha and Nicole Hancock. Keep a look out for order forms soon. And thanks to Val Koxha for taking the lead on the shirts!
  • Legacy Gift: We really need someone to head this effort. In the meantime, we'd like to hear from you and your 5th grader: What should the Class of '22 give to CP? Submit your ideas here. Once we have some strong options, we'll put it to the 5th graders for a vote.
  • McCaffrey's Receipts: We've already got quite a collection. Bland Whitley will be asking for 5th grader volunteers soon to help tally up the receipts. Thanks, Bland, for cracking the whip!
  • Community Service: The 5th graders will be invited to share their service interests in a short survey soon. Rachel Grainger, whose family just moved to Princeton, could use a seasoned partner in planning service opportunities.
  • Moving On Dates.... We're still waiting to hear back about moving on dates for the spring. Will let everyone know asap.

Thanks all! We're off to a strong start.

:) Nicole & Georgette
