Hello CP Families-

We are still in need of many more volunteers for the CP Book Fair. The book fair cannot run without volunteers and there are still days with 0 sign ups.  If possible, please donate a few hours of your time to make this a fun event for the kids.

This year's Book Fair will be held on Tuesday, March 7th through Friday, March 10th from 8:30 am – 3:00 pm in the gymnasium.   We are looking for parent volunteers to work during the week.

Here are some important points about the Book Fair this year:

• Students will be allowed to purchase books during their class visit.  Students may also compile a "wish list" of books during the visit, and then payment, along with the wishlist, can be returned to school by March 10th.  
• Returns are not permitted so please be sure to talk to your student about what they are allowed to purchase.   Note, that in addition to books, there are non-book items at the fair like pencils, erasers, journals, etc.  
• We strongly recommend using Scholastic's E-wallet for your students purchases.  While cash (and credit cards) will also be accepted, this is much more convenient and there are no worries about students misplacing cash.  Information about E-wallet and how to sign up can be found here: https://bookfairs.scholastic.com/bookfairs/cptoolkit/homepage.do?method=homepage&url=communityparkelemschool1 
• You can also visit the CP Book Fair with your child on Wednesday 3/8 and Thursday 3/9 from 1-3pm on both days (CP has half days for the parent-teacher conferences.)
• Teacher’s Wish Lists will be available at the Book Fair, should you wish to donate a book to a classroom, a specials class, or the library.
