Join the Green Team! 

The Green Team supports sustainability at Community Park in conjunction with the District Green and Wellness Team. We use guidelines from Sustainability New Jersey Schools as a framework. This includes but is not limited to:

*Facility Advocacy at the District level

*Wellness initiatives for staff, students, and families

*Recycling and sustainable practices within school and at school events

*Certification and grant proposals

*Non-traditional recycling programs (crayons, personal care bottles and items, bottle caps, TREX Challenge/ stretchy plastic)

*Bike and Walk to School Day

*Climate change activism and education
