Collaborate with the district liaison, principal, nurse, and local organizations to ensure a more equitable experience for CP students whose families meet the federal free/reduced lunch income requirements. Requires a high level of confidentiality.
In the past, the PTO has supported our Parker Bear students by:
-Providing complimentary registration to one after school club per session;
-Raising funds to purchase gift cards to Target and local grocery stores so all families have necessities around the holidays;
-Providing "extras" that might otherwise be out of reach, including class photographs and CP book fair books;
-Collaborating with the nurse to purchase eyeglasses;
-Collecting and distributing gently used Halloween costumes and winter clothing;
-Supporting registration fees for summer camp at the Princeton Recreation Department;
-Raising funds for bathing suits and supplies for Parker Bear students attending summer camp
