Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week

Monday May 7 – Friday May 11

Hello Cougar Families!

Teacher Appreciation Week is fast approaching! We will be celebrating our incredible teachers and staff here at Crestwood Elementary the week of May 7th – May 11th. The PTA would like to recommend some voluntary ways to get our students involved in the celebration.

Monday, May 7th: ​​SNACK ATTACK

Have your student bring in a snack, candy or treat for their teacher or favorite staff member. It can be something they know the teacher likes, one of the student’s favorites, something you have on hand… you decide.

Tuesday, May 8th:​​FLOWER POWER

Have your student bring in a flower for their teacher or favorite staff member. It can be a fresh flower, a paper flower or even something from your own garden.

Wednesday, May 9th:​​SUPER SUPPLIES

Have your student bring in a supply the teacher can use in the classroom. A box of tissues, pencils, markers, post-it notes or whatever they might need.

Thursday, May 10th:​​E-PRAISE DAY

This one is for the parents: Go to your favorite e-card website like Hallmarkecards.com or Bluemountain.com, and let your child’s teacher know just how thankful you are for all they have done throughout the school year. Or you may choose to write them an email or give them a hand written note they can keep.

Friday, May 11th:​​KIDS SAY THANKS

Have your student draw a picture or make a thank you card their teacher will treasure forever!

Remember, this is all voluntary. Families may have their own ideas on how to show their teacher how much they are appreciated. Maybe a gift card or just a simple hug, but let’s be sure we let our incredible Crestwood Elementary Staff and Teachers know how thankful we are for such a wonderful school year!
