Our students continue to benefit from the generosity of our parents and community during the 2020-21 school year. We receive limited funding from the state; therefore we rely heavily on family donations. By donating to the DeLaveaga Parent Teacher Club (PTC), you will be directly giving each child the opportunity to become a life-long learner prepared for the future.


Our Dragons and Delaveaga community would be grateful for any donation you can make for our biggest fundraiser of the year - no pledge is too big or too small. It is uncertain if we will be able to hold our other fundraisers including Walk-a-thon and Carnival.


Your support of $200 per child funds the PTC programs for this school year. Additional funds are appreciated for those families that cannot make a donation. Make a donation at


During the 2020-21 school year the PTC is committed to contributing more than $100,000 towards programs, services, and supplies for our kids at DeLaveaga. The Pledge Drive is an opportunity for you, your family, friends, and employer to help support our school without requiring a lot of your time.


This year, perhaps more than ever before, your donations are critical in ensuring that we can continue to support our staff and students. Despite the new method of Distance Learning, our staff still needs resources, our library needs to keep an updated book catalogue, our Life Lab needs to be maintained, and our students still need supplies to complete their assignments. Last year we spent $9,000 on chromebooks. We also spent almost $7,000 on teacher grants. Funding provided by the PTC will be even more crucial this year as teachers find new ways to engage students in distance learning. Our community has more needs than ever.  Did you know that the DeLaveaga PTC donated $1,000 in grocery gift cards to our most needy families between March and August?  


There are multiple ways to contribute:

  1. Donate at You will be directed to options including credit card, Paypal, or bank transfer. You can set up one-time or monthly donations. You can search for your employer to add a matching contribution.
  2. Provide a check made payable to the Delaveaga PTC and mail it to 1145 Morrissey Blvd, Santa Cruz, CA 95065. You can also drop if off at the school office.
  3. Secure a matching donation from your employer at Donorbox.
  4. Ask a grandparent or family member to contribute.

This year's pledge drive runs from November 2 through November 30. Please help us meet our goal!
