We have the following community announcement to share with SurfRider families. 

The City of San Diego’s proposed 2026 budget (https://www.sandiego.gov/sites/default/files/pb_full.pdf) includes plans to close the Northwestern Division Police Station, which is currently the only station located within the boundaries of the Del Mar Union School District.

The City Council will review the proposed budget this Monday. If you would like to share your thoughts, public comments can be submitted here (agenda item 200):
