Hello SurfRider Families,

As part of Red Ribbon Week, this Thursday 10/6 is Walk 2 School Day!  For families who would like to park and walk, or walk in a group, there are 3 meet-up locations:

  1. Pinewood St & Mango Dr
  2. Lozana Rd & Durango Dr
  3. Northwest corner of the Vons parking lot pedestrian ramp

The Hills PTA would love one or two parent volunteers to help lead our walking students on sidewalks from each meet-up location to the Hills marquee where orange juice will be available.  The PTA will provide volunteers with a safety vest for the walk. 

We ask that volunteers arrive at their location a few minutes before the 7:30 meet-up time.  The suggested departure time is 7:35, so students have time to walk and still get school breakfast, if applicable.
