Our SurfRiders and the PTA have kicked off Staff Appreciation Week!  All week long, the staff appreciation team will be working with students to show our staff “How Sweet It Is” to be in school together.  

Tuesday, kids are invited to wear their teacher’s favorite color.  If your student would like to participate, check out the list of colors below.  And the attached flier shows all the Sweet activities in store for the week.  

And because May is so busy, here’s a reminder of other happenings this week:

• All week long, your SurfRider can bring books they no longer read (appropriate for rising 1st - 7th graders) to their classroom collection bag for the Title Wave book swap next week.
• This Friday from 5-7pm is the Family Carnival.  We’ll be collecting used athletic shoes for recycling.  The first 150 students that donate shoes get a coupon for the ice cream truck!
