Please join the D39 Community in participating in Giving Tree, a program that helps support those in need this holiday season. Within each of your classroom Konstella groups, you'll find a grade-level specific way to help!

TL;DR (But we hope you read on!)

The new volunteer approval process is here! Both new and returning volunteers, please submit your application [HERE].

✅ Want to help plan future events? We need both an events lead and committee members, to help with both the Family Dance and Spring's Celebration of Us. Interested? Email david@design39collaborative.org

✅ How are you not yet sick of how I write these updates? We are looking for a Communications Chair to join the Collaborative Board to help keep families in the loop on campus news and how the Collaborative supports D39C. Interested? Email david@design39collaborative.org

This past week, it's been really encouraging to see the moving parts and pieces of our campus. As the Collab, we've been working on upcoming events - the Family Dance and Celebration of Us - while prepping to support Giving Tree and some ongoing Bridge and Service39 food drives. This community always looks out for one another as the holidays approach, and this year is shaping up to be no different.

We also met with grade-level representative LEDs to hear updates about their work and needs, and look forward to sharing a summary in next week's newsletter.

Thank you for your continued engagement and support.

This week, a huge shout out to our very own Community and Culture Director, Kat Furtado. She's put in a TON of work behind the scenes to make Community Nights a success, and has been working with our wonderful events team (Yay, Leili and Anna, and now Daniela!) to help ensure the Family Dance and Celebration of Us will be a success, while also leading the Collab (along with our Design Thinking Chair, Chadia!) in design thinking excercises designed to improve how we impact our campus.

If you see her, give her a hearty thanks!
