NEW DATE FORTHCOMING: Celebration of Us Event! Now not on Superbowl Sunday; join us from 3:00 to 5:30 for a multi-cultural celebration full of food, performances, and fun! Final date TBA.

Jan. 19 - 10:00 a.m. - Join Service39 School Clean-Up from 10AM - 12PM for National Day of Service to commemorate MLK Day


Jan. 30 - Middle School Semi-Formal Dance, Under the Stars - see attached flier!

This week continues the tours and interest from perspective families, and serves as a reminder as to why we, as current families, have chosen this place. Seeing the Middle School Leadership Team dazzle the perspective families was a highlight of the week, and we look forward to welcoming more future families to campus tonight, and next Tuesday. 

While it may seem early, we're also starting to gather interest for next year's Collab Board; please see below for more!

 Interested in Getting More Involved at Design39 Campus? 

Hi Design39 Families! 

Are you looking for a meaningful (and fun!) way to get involved on campus and connect more deeply with your child’s experience at Design39?

The Design39 Collaborative is a parent-led group that partners closely with the school to support our designers, strengthen our community, and help shape the future of learning at D39C. Whether you’re interested in volunteering on campus, helping with events, contributing ideas, or simply staying more connected—there’s a place for you!

 Why join the Collaborative?

• Get involved in your designer’s journey
• Build connections with other D39 families
• Support innovative learning and campus initiatives
• Have a real voice in shaping our school community

No prior experience is needed—just a willingness to engage and support our designers!

Music
On February 13th, the D39 music department will be showcasing songs, dance, and games from Asia. Our class will be performing in the show. Mrs. Spencer is soliciting ideas from our community. If you have some, please fill out the following survey by January 19th.  Teaching of the music will start the week of January 20th.

Middle School: A Day in the Life
The Middle School Leadership team will be presenting Middle School A Day in the Life at the upcoming Collab Meeting, on Monday, Feb. 23, at 5:30 pm. Parents and Designers, particularly 5th Graders, are welcome to come learn about what it's like to be a Middle Schooler at D39!

COMMUNITY NIGHT UPDATES
GIANT thank you to the Middle School Leadership Team for their success in December’s “Paint and Sip” Community Night. We had record turnout and guests were raving about the sips, snacks, and activities! Another huge thank you to the Del Norte fine arts department for sending high schoolers to lead the Paint and Sip paint activity. And as always, thank you to all our volunteers who make these fantastic events possible.

Reminder: January’s Karaoke Night has been cancelled, but please join us in February for game night! Details on Konstella.
