Hey there. Me again. Collaborative President, David Israel.

Thank you to everyone who came to our Collaborative Board meeting on Monday. Two things from me this week:

  1. Please donate to 39 Days of Giving.
    (Donate here!)
On Tuesday, we shared a Konstella video on why 39 Days of Giving matters. We’ve re-shared it here in case you missed it. In it, you’ll hear how your generosity funds Impact Teachers, a Music Assistant, classroom supplies, events, and more — all of the things that allow D39C and our designers to grow and thrive. And new this year: once you donate, we’ll take you off the email list!

  2. Join me for coffee next Wed., Aug. 27, at Mostra Coffee (4S) from 8:30 a.m. to approx. 10 a.m. Stop by to say hi, chat about anything Collab or D39C related, or whatever else is on your mind. Hope to meet you there!

With appreciation,
- David

Volunteer Needed:
Lead Service39 Club

We’re seeking a Service39 Club Leader to continue this special tradition at D39C.

Service39 brings families together in hands-on projects that show our designers the power of giving time to make a difference. Past activities have included beach and park cleanups, food drives, holiday giving programs, and more.

👉 Interested? Contact service39@design39collaborative.org.

Step Into the Role:
Student Enrichment Chair

Love the clubs and enrichment that make D39C special? We’re looking for a Student Enrichment Chair to join the Collaborative board and help guide these programs. In this role, you’ll partner with parents and LEDs to support the clubs and activities that bring our designers’ passions to life.

👉 Interested? Email Director of Student Enrichment & Parent Volunteers,
Divya Murugesan, at Divya@Design39Collaborative.org.

Mark your calendars for Sept. 10 and stroll through our Student Enrichment Fair.

 A Heartfelt Thank You
to Ms. Eveleth

We are so grateful to Kelly Eveleth, our Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA TOSA), for bringing the Free Little Art Gallery to life in front of our campus. This special installation is a joyful reminder to make art, take art, leave art and love art.

It’s already been wonderful to see so many of you pause, admire, and even contribute. The gallery is not just an installation — it’s a celebration of creativity and community, and we’re lucky to have it here at D39C.
