Soliciting Community Feedback - MS Changes
Sat, May 9 7:16am

Dear D39 Community:

As we’ve listened to your concerns over the last week, we recognize the desire for a community forum that would allow the Collab to collect, synthesize, and share the questions and feedback that you have for the administration and District. This should not be considered a replacement for reaching out directly to share your thoughts – we encourage you to do so.

If you’d like, please feel free to share your questions and feedback at: Questions and Feedback Form. NOTE: As of the evening of May 8, this has been edited to now link to the District's form, rather than the Collab's.

As we move forward, we encourage feedback that is constructive, solutions-oriented, and focused on how to best support our students, staff, and community through the changes taking place.

Our plan is to synthesize and share this feedback to Dr. Bobby, to help guide the ongoing conversation. We are also holding a listening session on Monday evening at 8:00 p.m. (link below). During that session, Collab members will be present to listen, solely on the relevant recurring topics that are raised in the written feedback.

To help ensure everyone has an opportunity to be heard, ground rules will be in place to keep the conversation respectful, focused, and on topic. Similar to public comment at a School Board meeting, this session is intended for listening and collecting feedback rather than providing responses or debate during the meeting itself.

We appreciate everyone who has taken the time to share their perspectives, and we remain committed to supporting a respectful and constructive dialogue for our community.

Thanks,

David
