Dear D39 Community:
The Collaborative is, at its core, here to be responsive to the needs of designers, parents, and staff of Design39Campus. We’re aware of the desire for more information about the upcoming changes to the middle school classes and campus spaces. We have been having informal conversations with you – our community – and with Design Facilitators.
At this moment, the need in our community we can best respond to is a desire for better communication and full information about the upcoming changes to the middle school. We’ve requested Dr. Bobby and Design Facilitators host a meeting for parents to communicate more about the changes. In the meantime, Dr. Bobby encourages parents/caregivers to express questions and concerns directly to him at rcaughey@powayusd.com so he can hear from the community.
The Collaborative will continue to listen to the community and serve as a resource as best we can. While we consist of amazing and incredibly caring individuals (seriously – talk to any of them, and you’ll immediately see why they chose to be involved), we’re also volunteers and parents, and ultimately, not the source of campus decision making. Please know we’re all doing what we can to be a community resource in this moment.
