Thursday, October 8, 2026
Please see the updated information below for the band concert under Music Room News, and an Odyssey of the Mind announcement under Volunteer Opportunities.

✅ Mark Your Calendar🗓️
October 12: Collab Meeting, 5:30 PM, in the Loft (all parents are welcome!). We'll be handling some board business, but also design thinking around the current Garden space; come share your thoughts!
October 14
: Minimum Day | dismissal at 1:10 PM

October 15: Earthquake Drill
October 17: Celebration of Us | 3 PM - 6 PM
October 19-23: Red Ribbon Week
October 23: Fire Drill
October 26: School Site Council Meeting

I'll be honest: it's the kind of week where I forgot to write this until 2:30 today. It's that time of year, generally; we had a wonderful meeting with the LEDs this morning, and the general consensus is that it's that period of post-settling in to things being new, and those final adjustments to the new routine.

I do hope you'll join us on Monday for our Collab meeting, as we design think ideas for the existing Garden space, and one more reminder for Celebration of Us on October 17th - truly my favorite event of the year.

I hope this weekend brings you some relief from the heat, and some quality time.
