We hope you were able to enjoy today's maker faire! What an amazing display of creativity, business savvy, and fun (not to mention soaps!); thank you to everyone who supported the designers, and in turn, their chosen charities.
Thank you, as well, dear reader, for reading the Thursday Three all year long. This is likely the last of the school year (since next Thursday is the last day of school), but we'll also utilize this over the summer to provide important updates and information.
An early congratulations to the promoting 8th graders; your time at D39C has hopefully impacted you as much as you've impacted D39C. Thank you for your leadership and learning.
I hope everyone has a fun and safe summer, and we look forward to seeing you next year!

Thank you and gratitude
Massive thank you to our incredible Middle School Leadership Team for their work on the last Community Night. It was a smashing success due to their hard work and commitment. The sticker exchange and collage night was so much fun!
Additionally, the 5th through 8th grade band concert was absolutely brilliant. Special thanks to Ms. Spencer and Ms. Hobson for creating such a fantastic musical experience with our kids. Gratitude to the returning “band kids” who came from Del Norte and elsewhere to play selections from “How to Train Your Dragon” with the current band members.
Middle School Design Sessions
Thank you to all who were able to join this week to meet with the District staff and participate in design thinking sessions about the expansion. We expect a summary to hit your inboxes this week; additionally, a student survey about the spaces conducted internally has results available here.
As we wrap up the school year, a huge thank you to all of the volunteers - especially those who served in a Collab Board position - for the time, love, and care put in to making this community the best it can be. Without each of you, D39C would not be the place we know and love it to be.
