Dear community:
On Saturday, we celebrated all of the parts and pieces that make our community strong. I am heartbroken, especially fresh off of that celebration, with this afternoon's news of the violence perpetrated against the Islamic Community in San Diego.
To the Islamic community here at D39: We see you, welcome you, and are here for you, and will always work to make sure that this community is always a safe and welcome place for you.
