A brief reminder that school resumes tomorrow, and a recap of 2025 with a look ahead to 2026!

In 2025, The Collab has focused on two main items: community, and financial stability. We started having semi-monthly Community Nights, which have served to bring families across grade levels together to interact through fun campus events, and supported the Family Dance. 

We can't wait for Celebration of Us Week (Feb 2-6) and the Celebration of Us Event (fka Passport39) on Feb 8th; Please sign up here to help lead a booth about your families' identity, whether it be your nationality, religion, or any other part of your culture. 

On the financial side, this community really stepped up during 39 Days of Giving; the most recent financial estimates are below.

We've used that money to do things like pay for Impact Teachers, who help students who need it in the classrooms, resulting in notes like this from our LEDs:

"Heartfelt thanks to the Collab for your support which has enabled us to have the support of an IMPACT teacher. As an impacted grade with large classes (38 students in some), it has made a big difference to be able to create smaller groups and differentiate based on need. This also helps us track students' needs and deliver and monitor the effectiveness of those who require academic interventions. The icing on the cake is how the students have responded. They take their IMPACT time seriously, have shown more engagement and ownership of their learning, and walk a little prouder. THANK YOU, Collab!

Your generosity also supports the holiday gifts for LEDs, the upcoming Middle School dance, and Master Sports day at the end of the year. This year, The Collab also set a reserves and investment policy, and has started to invest in principal-protected investments to bring in even more money to support our school, as we work to try to continue to maintain and grow our level of financial impact to the school in the face of rising costs.
