It's that time again!
The EDI Committee's Souper Bowl Food Drive takes place 2/5 to 2/9 benefiting House of Bread in Hartford, where one of the co-directors is a proud Duffy alum.
We set up two sets of tables for each team going to the actual Super Bowl. Students bring in donations and place them for their team of choice. Items include nonperishable food items, paper goods, new basic clothing items like socks & underwear, and any notes or drawings of kindness for those served by House of Bread.
We also share resources for families to discuss food insecurity and hunger including table talk question prompts, books, videos, ideas for notes of kindness, etc. This year we plan on having students share facts and friendly reminders during morning announcements.
This is all accomplished with the help of parent/caregiver volunteers and students! Many hands make light work and have an impact on our community together.

Looking for a few students to create homemade posters for the Food Drive using the same info on the printed ones, but creativity and homemade is always more fun! Drop off to someone helping with set up over the weekend.
