New! Duffy's Biggest Fundraiser Event of the Year is Back...IN PERSON!

It's that time of year again for the annual Parents Night Out Auction! The auction will be virtual like last year, but we're inviting everyone to come celebrate the final countdown to the end of the auction IN PERSON for the first time in 3 years! Be on the lookout for more details in the next few weeks. We hope to see you on Friday, November 4th at New Park Brewing!

Historically, at the Parents Night Out Fundraiser, we have asked parents to contribute to a fairly large item for the school to benefit not just the faculty, but the kids as well. In the past, we have raised funds for a new water filtration system, updated technology needs (such as iPads for the classrooms & a large screen monitor for the main lobby) and most recently, a new GaGa pit for the school grounds. We are considering raising funds for an outdoor 'shade system' in 2023 but would love your input on any other potential needs for now or the near future. If you have any ideas, please share your thoughts in this short survey between now and September 18th.

New! MUST BE FILLED ASAP: VOLUNTEER COORDINATORS (2) NEEDED for 2022-2023!

The PTO must fill 2 Volunteer Coordinator positions in order to provide the school with the efficient, robust, and worthwhile activities the Duffy community has come to expect.

Due to excellent leadership from our last volunteer coordinators, most committees have already been recruited and organized for 2022-2023. This bulk of the role this year, then, will be focused on supporting those committees by communicating event reports, budgets, etc.

Events and activities at Duffy will be curtailed if we cannot fill this role.

This is a collaborative roll that is supported by PTO Executive Leadership and is essential for continued growth of our Duffy community!

WELCOME WAGON CHAIRS (2) / SWEETS SOCIAL CHAIRS (2)

NEEDED for combined event on 9/22!

An honored tradition at Duffy, the Welcome Wagon Pizza Party for new Duffy families and the Sweets Social for the entire school community will take place on Thursday 9/22 and we need Chairs to organize these simple events to ensure the tradition continues!

Welcome Wagon involves ordering food and being present on the event date. Sweets Social involves purchasing popsicles and handing them out on the date of the event. You will be supported by PTO Leadership and past event chairs during the planning process. Please consider this volunteer opportunity and reach out to Duffypto@gmail.com for more details.
