The Duffy Parent Equity Diversity & Inclusion Committee presents the 2024 "Souper Bowl” from February 5-9. Bring in non-perishable food items, other basic necessities, and notes/drawings of cheer and kindness to “vote” for your Super Bowl team by placing items on the respective tables near the front entrance. Last year, Duffy Dragons brought in 1,000 items!
The Souper Bowl benefits House of Bread which serves hundreds of adults and children each day. Students will have the opportunity to learn more about food insecurity and supporting those in our wider community, including ways to learn together as a family. Most needed items: pasta, parboiled rice, individually wrapped snacks, canned beans & vegetables, condiments, travel toiletries, toilet paper, paper towels, NEW men's t-shirts XL and larger, NEW adult underwear in larger sizes. The PTO still needs 2 volunteers to handle this year’s K registration event in April. Grab a friend and help make this event a success for incoming students and their families! Duties include ordering printed t-shirts for incoming students; organizing volunteers to help staff the event; and coordinating snacks, balloons and forms.
