New! November Conference Week is Here!
Due to the generosity of the Duffy community, we are close to achieving the goal of providing snacks, breakfast and a catered lunch for the teachers and staff next week.
We still have 2 critical needs:
1. Monetary Donations for a Catered Lunch - we are still in need of donations to cover the cost of a catered lunch. Contributions can be sent via Venmo to @John-Rothert
2. Breakfast Items - please sign up
here. Items should be delivered to the Duffy office any time on Thursday, 11/17 and will be served at a staff breakfast early Friday morning.
The teachers and staff look forward to these meals and snacks during conference week, and we cannot make this happen without your support. Thank you for helping to treat our wonderful teachers and staff!
New! Lyman Orchards Pie & Cookie Drive Pick up is THIS FRIDAY!
Lyman Orchards pies and cookies are coming in on Friday, just in time for Thanksgiving!
Pick up will be in the green lot at Duffy this Friday, November 18th from 12-2:30pm. We don't have freezer space,
so pies MUST be picked up at this time. Thanks to our Duffy community, 25 pies will be donated to families in need through Community Kitchen! If you have any questions, please email Steph & Steph at

Family to Family Connections
The PTO would like to further our efforts to enhance the experience of all families at Duffy. This year we are starting an initiative to encourage connections between our parents and caregivers. Are you part of a veteran Duffy family who knows where to find information and how to engage your child(ren) in community events, and who is willing to be a resource to others? Are you part of a newer Duffy family who has gotten lost in all the emails about curriculum, online apps, fundraisers, and events? If you would like to be connected to other Duffy families, whether it be to have a person to go to with questions or an opportunity to grab coffee with someone you might not meet otherwise, please respond to Liz Normand at
duffypto@gmail.com and let us know. You can simply say, "I'm interested!" or you can give more information on what you would hope to get out of this initiative. We are looking for additional "veteran" families to be a part of this!

Volunteer shout out! We can't do enough to thank Stephanie Montieth, Stephanie Dominello, Andrea DiMaria, Jenna McClure, Brie Salzman, Kelley Pellegatto, Katherine Zukis and Mary Ellen Doyle for their monumental volunteer efforts on the auction and parents night out. You ran a wonderful event filled with exciting items and gave the parents a fun night out! This fundraising event has put the PTO in a strong position to support our school community this year!
