New! No School - Thursday 11/24 & Friday 11/25
Please check the Duffy calendar for a complete list of activities.
New! Conference Week
A huge thank you to every Duffy family who donated food, drink and money for this week long event. The teachers enjoyed daily snacks, a mid-week catered lunch and breakfast Friday morning to help them power through this marathon week. The teachers and staff were well fed and all smiles - this would not have been possible without all of you!
New! Duffy Book Fair

Hartford Wolf Pack Game
If your choir member is interested in singing the National Anthem for the Wolfpack game on December 10th, please be sure to purchase a ticket using this link. The website currently shows that Duffy's tickets are sold out but our PTO is working to add more. Please check the link early next week for more tickets.
The Wolf Pack is having a Teddy Bear Toss at the game. Families are encouraged to bring a teddy bear or stuffed animal to throw out on the ice after the Wolf Pack scores its first goal of the night to benefit charity. More info can be found here.
Holiday Helpers
Each year the Duffy Service Projects committee assists local families during the holidays by filling children’s wish lists. If you are interested in helping this year, please email Shannon Pecorelli for more information on how you can assist. (Link to my email address: shannonpecorelli@gmail.com)
Family to Family Connections
The PTO would like to further our efforts to enhance the experience of all families at Duffy. This year we are starting an initiative to encourage connections between our parents and caregivers. Are you part of a veteran Duffy family who knows where to find information and how to engage your child(ren) in community events, and who is willing to be a resource to others? Are you part of a newer Duffy family who has gotten lost in all the emails about curriculum, online apps, fundraisers, and events? If you would like to be connected to other Duffy families, whether it be to have a person to go to with questions or an opportunity to grab coffee with someone you might not meet otherwise, please respond to Liz Normand at
duffypto@gmail.com and let us know. You can simply say, "I'm interested!" or you can give more information on what you would hope to get out of this initiative. We are looking for additional "veteran" families to be a part of this!

We offer a huge thank you to Kelsey Rothert for organizing the treats for Duffy staff during Conference Week. Kelsey collected donations, set up snacks all week in the staff lounge, and put together a lovely and thoughtful lunch on Wednesday and breakfast on Friday. Kelsey, thank you for representing the PTO and showing our gratitude to our teachers and staff this week!
