Check out the flyer sent home and get ready to track the minutes your child reads, either online or with a paper tracker which can be located in the office. Now that the spirit wear sale is done, items are in production and you should receive them in about two weeks.
April PTO Meeting
Please join us for the next Board meeting which will be held at the Hillcrest Area Neighborhood Outreach Center (HANOC), 105 Hillcrest Ave, West Hartford, CT 06110. This meeting will be in person only (no virtual option). Refreshments will be served and an activity for kids will happen concurrently. Agenda items include an update from Mrs. Laverty and planning for upcoming events, and we always welcome input from all attendees. If you plan to attend, please RSVP for yourself and any children you will bring so we can plan accordingly.
Volunteers Needed: Annual Duffy Art Show Prep!
The Duffy Art Department needs several volunteers to transform the hallways with Duffy students' amazing artwork. This beloved tradition takes a village to execute!
From April 24-May 5, there are opportunities for matting up the artwork (this can also be done at home), prepping the bulletin boards, and hanging the artwork. Please click HERE to sign up.
Yard Goats Game
Duffy will be going to the Yard Goats again this year! Join us at the stadium on Friday, May 5th, and see the Duffy choir sing the National Anthem to open the game. Ticket sales will go live from Monday, March 27th - April 17th, and all sales will go through Konstella this year.
To purchase tickets, log on to Konstella, go to the drop-down menu labeled "more", and click "sales". Complete the online order form. Tickets will be sent home with students on May 1st. Questions? Contact Lisa Scoma
