NEW!  Open PTO Board Positions: No Experience Needed!

The Duffy community is made up of hundreds of parents and caregivers, but the Duffy PTO is run by a relatively small group of volunteers, and we're seeking new faces for the 2024-2025 school year. We need YOUR help to keep our events and fundraising efforts up and running! This is a great way to meet other parents, help shape school events and get to know the Duffy school administration. No experience is needed and we will mentor you to help you get started. Specifically, the following positions are open:

Vice President: Seeking one or two people to work hand-in-hand with the current President during the upcoming school year and take over as President or Co-Presidents in 2025-2026. Influence events, help decide how to spend fundraising dollars and turn your ideas into action!

Fundraising: Seeking two people to oversee Duffy fundraising events such as Parent's Night Out, and pie and popcorn sales; or, mix things up and try a new idea! This is a two-year commitment and our two current committee leads are remaining on the committee to help guide you through the process!

Volunteer Coordinator: Seeking a second person to work hand-in-hand with our current Volunteer Coordinator to recruit parents/caregivers to handle various Duffy events. Must be organized and detail oriented!

Communications: Seeking one or two people to handle coordinating our weekly PTO eblasts. Eblasts are sent through Konstella and our current communications leads will provide training.

Secretary: Seeking one person to attend virtual and in-person PTO meetings to take detailed notes.

NEW! Duffy Fair
Duffy Fair is only a few weeks away!  We hope everyone can join the fun!  Flyers will be going home next week.  We also need many volunteers to make this event go smoothly!  Please sign-up for as many jobs as you are able. This year the planning committee is a small group and we will be looking for one person to be the "point person" for each station.  The responsibilities include coming to help with setting up your station, getting the first round of volunteers started, and checking in periodically during the Fair.  We are also looking for help filling 30 minute slots like we have in past years.  Thank you in advance for helping this event run smoothly!

Summer Singers with Ms Tierney - June 24th - June28th
Whole group choir - singing, games, drumming, movement. Taught by WHPS Music Teachers Sarah Chasse, Heather Schweger & Cheryl Tierney.  See attached flyer for more information.
